about ME (part 3)

We all know that time is above all else. it stops for none and shows no mercy to whoever it may be..... well me too was a victim, why?... well it was "school time" for this little man.
After the family had shifted to Vishakhapatnam city (a coastal city in the state of Andhra Pradesh in INDIA also known as the city of destiny) this little me joined a school named Naval Childrens School... before that me did have a little experience in this field as he did actually go to a school back in his village for his nursery schooling. Then came a Hostel Time in Hi-q International Acdemy in Ranchi ,Bihar where me couldn't last long.... so eventually after shifting to this city of destiny me had to join NCS.

Now NCS was a whole new planet for me... you see, this was a place that had so many different cultures and traditions and thoughts and languages and what not.... well me will admit.. it was a bit scary in the beginning. The reason: this school had people from all over the country from various states of INDIA.. this was  a Naval school and INDIAN Navy is a job that imports people of different origins from all over the country. Their kids were the ones studying in here including some civilian kids like me himself who were supposed to get in after having passed a written entrance exam. Well me ain't that good at studies but he definitely passed and got in.... wowwww.
A brand new chapter in his life was about to begin. New friends , new teachers, new environment and new subjects... believe me or not but me loved going to school.. he looked forward to it every day. He got into his fathers departments jeep along with the other lighthouse's staff  kids and made this voyage down the mountain into the city each morning to get to his school. Everything was so natural and events just flowed into one another. Mommy made mouth watering lunch for me to eat at school and me would generally be the first to open up his food box. Sharing wasn't an option but you see prestige did come into the way and eventually me did learn to share for the good of it. Studies were just fine and me scored quite a lot in his early days and was  loved by his teachers except the English and Maths teachers... What a nightmare it has been for me getting to know that the exams were slithering in... especially the above mentioned subjects.
Fun was never far from him... well me may not be that good at regular sports but was enough to make his opponents sweat it out at times. He liked football a lot and me along with the other little hooligans used to play in the school grounds for hours and always waited for that bell to ring that started the games period.

At the end of the day tired and weary me would wait outside the schools gates for his ride back home. It would appear at the corner of the road and a smile would spread across his face. lets get back home.....
Ma would be generally be waiting at the doors to receive me and not a single day would go buy when she would not scold him about his shirt being so dirty.
Life went on quite well in those young years... No worries, No tensions, No responsibilities, No problems at all.... Oh! one could actually be jealous of this guys childhood. Anyways those days as i believe are hard to come by again. After all childhood are the days when every fairy tale seems to be so true ,every dream so possible and real. When we know that being good is always rewarded and badness always looses the game.
A whole world apart.... a true, pure and selfless world it is.
I just wish me could become that same child once again and do all that stuff once more.
But as we know that time has its own way of getting things done and shaping life... similarly times did change for me and he too wasn't spared.
He was getting bigger , he was growing and so was the list of his experiences with peoples around him. People of such diversified characters. Different sorts of them.... both good and bad.
He was learning from life as it taught him.... he still learns from life. After all me believes that your experiences along with your parents are your best teachers.
lets see more about me and his new experiences with peoples in his school life ...
till then ,,,happy reading!!!

about ME (part 2)

So where were we.... ya ya... i remember, this "me" dude was actually growing unlike many theories that suggested otherwise... and like every other toddler he eventually got his way by hook or by crook. don't worry he didn't start smoking pot or hogging on brown sugar that early but yes he had this strange liking toward the little stones and pebbles that rested on the pavement, he simply used to pop in one or two at a time and keep juggling with them inside his mouth (as reported by his mom). A strange little fellow he was. Daddy said that whenever me got a chance he used to hold onto both his parents hands ,lift his little legs and swing between them while taking a walk together.... what joy ,what happiness it must have been for little me... nobody knows. He would sneak away during lunch if his mummy wasn't watching and feed chapatis to the cows that would come grazing outside... As mummy once also complained that "me" would at times slip into the kitchen when nobody was watching and take a pinch full of salt and taste it then another one and then once more... and this would continue until he heard mum coming towards the kitchen. and then it would follow:
me me?
yes mummy.
eating salt?
no mummy.
telling lies?
no mummy.
open your mouth............... and you know the rest... he would pretend to cry for not long and then when he saw that it was impossible to melt mum, he would just run away with a little devilish smirk on that face of his.
Daddy used to come home early from work and then me and daddy would sit down and prepare kites made up of newspapers and broomstick.. as the joy of simply seeing them soaring away... pure and so fulfilling. the hard work of the whole afternoon  had been paid off well.
"What are these slimy creatures".." eeeeeek" asked  me to his dad. "these are snails, beautiful creatures aren't they" said his dad. since then me was strangely interested in the little insects all around his home, the trees ,plants, animals and what not... it was such a time to explore these little gifts of nature in all its pristine form. Me loved the gulmohar tree outside his home that was situated atop a hill called 'the dolphin hill'. this was the hill that separated the sea and the city of vishakhapatnam on the south. If not in school then he would climb the tree and pretend to be hiding away from imaginary enemies and then ambushing them at the right time... other times he would just swing on the branches trying to mimic a monkey which has been one of his favorite animals for not so unknown reasons i believe.
Me's father was the in charge of a beautiful lively lighthouse and DGPS (digital global positioning system) station set here on top of the hill.
The view as me still remembers was a view to kill for... he wouldn't forget it ever in his life. That feeling of standing atop the lighthouse at the edge of the hill looking over the seaport, city and sensing as if you were above all others. Flying without wings would seem so literal at times. At night it would turn even more mesmerizing... it had the ability of pulling the whole world  to itself. A man could easily forget all his problems and comfortably let his thoughts go astray... there wouldn't be much difference between how an adult and a child would feel here .......free of all that is earthly... as if it were the end of the world and time itself would stop for you to bathe your soul in this flow of beauty that nature and man had together built.... me would definitely like to go back there sometime.
happy and quite eventful his childhood has been...
oh! school... school was sooo much fun again ,where me got to learn a lot of important stuffs about the world around him... his eyes were wide open with the variety he had to experience and always the choices that he had to make....
more about me and his school days coming soon...
read on....
